Cullybackey College offers a varied programme in Drama.
In Year 8, basic drama skills such as improvisation, role playing, dance & storytelling are explored.
In Year 9, dialogues, monologues and short skits are developed in creative ways.
In Year 10, a variety of theatrical styles and GCSE scripts are explored and performed.
At GCSE level, students engage in a wide variety of stimuli to further develop critical and creative thinking skills. Students have many opportunities to develop skills (acting, voice, dance, etc) and perform on stage. Drama is an excellent background for many professions, as literacy and communication skills, as well as confidence are developed in a positive environment with peers.
