Cullybackey’s Year 8 Go Back in Time
Cullybackey College’s new Year 8 went on their annual residential to the Ulster Folk and Transport Museum this month. They experienced first-hand life as a child in Victorian times by dressing up in old clothes and going to school for a lesson, before heading to court for real life trial. They also participated in some craft activities, creating souvenirs to take home to their parents and made some home-made soda bread on an open fire.
After dinner, some energetic team building games were played and pupils and staff danced the night away before a well-deserved sleep.
An enjoyable time was had by all involved and it was definitely a trip that will be remembered for years to come, where many firm friendships were formed.
