Learning for Life and Work
There are three strands of LLW taught at Cullybackey College - Personal Development, Citizenship and Education for Employability. The LLW curriculum helps young people to develop the fundamental skills, knowledge, qualities and dispositions that are pre-requisites for life and work. It informs the development of the young person as an individual, a contributor to society and as a contributor to the economy and the environment.
Pupils in 11A1-4 study GCSE LLW at KS4, those in 11A5 study Employability Skills levels 1 and 2.
The Head of Department is Mrs K Armstrong who works closely with the Citizenship Coordinator Mrs T McCracken. There are a variety of other teachers involved in the delivery of the subject both at KS3 and KS4.
